Quick resolutions expected to hurdles in Southwest Airlines deal
Southwest Airlines stands to gain traffic, revenue, passengers, markets and other desirable things when it acquires AirTran Holdings. But the $1.4 billion cash and stock deal also carries pitfalls to be avoided and hurdles to be jumped to make the purchase work for Southwest employees, shareholders and customers.

Iberia to Repair A330 Components for Onur Air on Exclusive Basis
Iberia Maintenance has signed a contract to maintain on an exclusive basis the components of the three A330 aircraft flown by the Turkish airline Onur Air. The “price by hour” type contract covers the repair and pool access of entire systems such as LRUs (Line Replaceable Units), navigation and communications systems, and other components, over a five-year period.
